A letter from our founder
Why I Started Engage Spaces
I started my first software company at 16. Years later I was one of the first engineers at Edsby, building systems that had to work for thousands of people at once.
The whole time, I was also serving alongside university students, churches and campus ministries.
In both worlds I kept running into the same two gaps. Organizations doing incredible work with people had no real way to bring everyone they served into one place. And mission-minded people felt they had to choose between their calling and their career.
In 2021 I set out to close both. Engage Spaces gives ministries and nonprofits the kind of tools well-funded companies take for granted, and it's built by a team who get to use their gifts for the mission they care about.
At that time, our own ministry work was growing and our people were increasingly scattered all over. Engage Spaces is how we care for and love our people in the digital space, even though our ministry takes us far from each other physically. I believe in what our team is doing at Engage Spaces, because I see it every day in my own relationships.
Amazingly, many other communities have discovered the beauty of a digital home to bring their people together.
Everyone needs a home. I hope Engage Spaces becomes one for the people you love and lead.
Robin
